橫跨多種藝術領域，多才多藝的施萊辛（Eric Sleichim），在1988年成立了布林德曼（BL!NDMAN）薩克斯風四重奏。從不滿足與單一表演形式的施萊辛在展開觸角的同時，在世界各地也打開知名度，也成立了鼓團、弦樂團與人聲合唱團，共同探索廣大的表現領域。這次他們所帶來的最新專輯主要是要向3位美國極簡主義代表性的作曲家致敬：史帝夫‧萊許、菲利普‧葛拉斯，以及泰瑞‧萊利。
《ICONS：美國極簡主義作曲家─史帝夫‧萊許、菲利普‧葛拉斯、泰瑞‧萊利》專輯中融合了3位作曲家知名與鮮為人知的作品，並且在這個充滿智慧的演出裡，運用薩克斯風、弦樂和打擊樂四重奏，還有鋼琴、電吉他、Tubax和電子樂器等創造出有如21世紀管弦樂團的音色，充分展現了其獨特的陣容所產生出的非凡音色。
