若把勸世界看做國語樂壇，AVB 近年來的片子狂賣，態勢強悍光芒四射，就有如小豬羅志祥，而 PVD 儘管成名較久，卻始終沒被忽略過，名滿天下與出手就驚人的功力，是不是好似周董周杰倫？好啦，管它怎麼比喻，PVD 那與 BT 合奏的 Flaming June 傳奇、Vandit 的榮耀出品、加上和 Oakenfold 相偕帶領勸世挑戰葛萊美、兩度百大之王加身、1997年至今完全沒有跌出前十等等的事蹟，長久來為電音人士們所津津樂道卻是不爭的事實，而 VONYC Sessions 是 2006 年起便已推出的個人電台秀，迄今六年中已放送了超過 200 集，在每次的兩個小時中，PVD 以跨廠牌類型的精準耳力對全球千萬樂迷作大勢指導與好波引介，其實體發行便是各位面前以年份為編號的本大碟，別以為這抬頭現在才出到第二張沒什麼了不起，首發的 VONYC Sessions 2009 可是 IDMA 2010 年的最佳混音專輯大奬 (Best Full Length DJ Mix) 得主，且在 Vandit加入 Armada 後，本系列會有如何的火花？會得到如何的加持和回應？相信在在俱是令人充滿期待的！
雙盤以逐漸加速的概念鋪陳，Disc One 開頭的 I Believe In You 與流行名曲 Mercy (Duff) 系出同門，流行血緣改為簡勁拍點主導，接著老戰友Eric Prydz 化名 Pryda 帶來 Inspiration 用飄忽音源構築出空間感，再交棒嫡系 Monster Tunes 的固定搭檔 Ben Preston feat. Susie 拉出了第一條熱舞線，是前衛美聲的勸浩室連擊！前面說過會先以造勢穩打為主，D-Mad 的 She Gave Happiness 維持著類放克的輕靈與微溫能量、口感爽脆；Michael Woods 的 Dynamik 實至名歸充滿著爆炸性的創意，不斷變幻的頻率與音調看似無理堆疊，卻打造出完全新鮮的情緒高峰！Disc Two 由荷電雙雄 (Ferry Corsten DJ 加 Tiësto) 聯手的 Premier 旗下新銳 Alpha 9 之 Come Home 為首，不到三分鐘即以標準勸世爬昇手法破題，然後給同門 Yuri Kane 的 Right Back 再起，這支可是榮獲 ASOT Tune of the Year 2010 的猛打，焦燥聲響與洗腦旋律線化身雙面惡魔，句句挑逗著熱舞靈魂，然後就是 Vandit 家族的總動員時間了，Filo & Peri、Ernesto vs Bastian、Jon O'Bir、Giuseppe Ottaviani、Mark Eteson 等與 PVD 本尊依序出列，連串新穎又流線的曲目接力上衝、拱出個懸空舞台般的豪華景緻，結果壓軸時還得見 System F 的大名連著 Out Of The Blue 的奇觀，這支 2010 年的新版混音在 Giuseppe Ottaviani 的巧手裏層次豐腴力道不減，303 盤旋通達天堂的表現，舊雨新知絕對都會給讚！難能可貴的是全輯 36 曲保有 PVD 素來的清楚順暢的特點，歌曲成色與情緒起伏兼顧得無懈可擊，是取經欣賞均相宜的好物！
